haha. I've read the williams' book cover to cover, countless times >_>;; 's been my bible for a year.

for cheap but flashy formulated 2D animation effects, you can go to "Tezuka's School of Animation"

and for anatomy i was copying "Bridgman's complete guide to drawing from life"

Andrew Loomis's "Fun With A Pencil" is a pretty good constructive drawing book too.

oh oh oh, Ken Hultgren's "The Art of Animal Drawing" is a wonderful book for animating animals.

and "The Art of Storyboard" by Don Bluth is pretty good too.
and ofcourse, all the miyazaki dvds now comes with a storybaord extra feature too.

ps. speach is a type of private beach, but it's swarmed by seaweed, tangling everything =_=

well, first of all you need to read more about animation, try to find books by the old masters from disney and warner bros,
second thing is to obtain some solid drawing skills (that means realistic observational drawings of people and animals),
and last but not least PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.
all in a day's hard work!
